Every face is built differently
Skin thickness, fat, sagging direction, cheekbone and jaw structure and the position of the eye corners all differ by person.

A natural, low-key method
Treating celebrities and patients from many countries in Gangnam, Dr. Ahn developed a way to restore the face naturally rather than pull hard.
Why ‘Secret’ Thread Lifting?
Designed so that no one can tell threads were used
Three directions, together
We analyze sagging at the eyes, cheeks and jawline together

Outer eye corner lifting
When the outer corners of the eyes and the outer eyebrow area droop, the eyes can look heavy and tired.
Secret Thread Lifting considers the direction of lateral facial support and aims to improve drooping outer eye corners and the outer eyebrow line.

Cheek lifting
When the cheek tissue of the midface moves downward, the nasolabial area deepens and the center of the face can look heavy.
We analyze the direction of cheek sagging and support the tissue in the needed direction.

Jawline lifting
When the cheeks, deep cheeks and tissue around the jaw sag, the face's V-line blurs and the jawline looks heavy.
Secret Thread Lifting uses the lifting direction of the outer face, aiming to make the jawline and facial contour look more defined.
Non-surgical lifting, no incision
Threads go in through tiny entry points to support tissue
How the procedure goes
From facial analysis to aftercare
- 1
STEP 1 · Facial analysis and design
First, we look at the face from the front and the side.
We check the position and direction of sagging of the outer eye corners, cheekbones, cheeks and jawline, and determine the lifting direction needed.
- 2
STEP 2 · Local anesthesia
Local anesthesia is administered, focusing on the positions and paths where the threads will go.
Anesthesia Local anesthesia
As a rule, it is performed without general anesthesia or sedation anesthesia.
- 3
STEP 3 · Thread insertion and lifting
Tiny insertion points are made to fit the facial structure, and threads are inserted in the designed direction.
What matters is not how many threads are inserted, but in which direction the tissue is supported.
We balance the entire face while checking the positions of the outer eye corners, cheeks, jawline and so on.
- 4
STEP 4 · Final balance check
We check the facial lines and expressions on the left and right.
If needed, we adjust the detailed tension and finish so that one side is not pulled excessively.
Average procedure time About 30 min
※ Procedure time may vary depending on the number of threads, the scope of the procedure and the individual's facial condition.
- 5
STEP 5 · Aftercare
Avoid saunas and hot water for a week and strenuous exercise for 3~5 days, and refrain from drinking and smoking for 3 days before and after. Apply sunscreen and avoid direct sun.
Lifted, not pulled
We aim for “you look well lately”, not “pulled”

Secret Thread Lifting FAQ
01 How long does the procedure take?
Generally about 30 minutes. It may vary depending on your facial condition, the number of threads used and the scope of the procedure.
02 What kind of anesthesia is used?
As a rule, it is performed under local anesthesia.
03 Will it leave marks on my face?
It is not a method involving large skin incisions or sutures. The procedure is performed through tiny insertion points, and the insertion positions are also designed to be as unnoticeable as possible. Small insertion marks or swelling and bruising may appear temporarily.
04 Can the outer eye corners be lifted too?
Depending on the facial structure and degree of sagging, the lifting direction can be designed with the aim of improving sagging of the outer eye corners and outer eyebrow area.
05 Does it work on the jawline too?
Depending on the direction of sagging of the cheeks and tissue around the jaw, a treatment plan can be made with the aim of improving the jawline and facial outline.
06 Is it better to insert more threads?
No. Rather than the number of threads, what matters is the position and direction that fit the facial structure, and appropriate tension.
07 How much recovery time is needed?
It varies by individual, but swelling, bruising, a pulling sensation and the like may appear temporarily. The specific recovery process will be explained during the consultation according to the scope of the procedure.
Facial lines that don't show it
We first look at how the eye corners, cheeks and jawline have sagged, then design a lifting direction for the whole face.
※ Swelling, bruising, tightness, pain or changes in sensation may appear temporarily; results and recovery vary by individual.
